Life.....

INJURING YOURSELF

Injuries do knock you back and hit your confidence especially as you always have that fear of …. Will it happen again?

Not only has it had a knock on effect with my back in general but also a lot of other things…. Such as losing muscle in my body, change of body shape and general overall confidence.

However I will not let it defeat me! I know what makes me happy and I won’t let anything stop it. It’s just learning about it being a slow process and accepting that it’s ok to start from scratch.

As I say to my clients if you want it that badly you will put your heart and soul into it! And that’s exactly what I’m doing.
Some days I can’t train as much or as hard as I want but it ok as it’s about listening to your body

I now 110% make sure that I incorporate stretches and strength exercises on certains areas to help repair it. That is the only way to get stronger and also decrease the risk of future injuries.

So if you have suffered with an injuries new or re-occurring don’t let it set you back! We only have one body and we are in charge of looking after it!

I understand the frustrations but you can get there! So if you have suffered with an injuries new or re-occurring don’t let it set you back! We only have one body and we are in charge of looking after it!

Here I’m just chilling on the flat ground with my back flat to the floor and letting it relax.

I know stretching can seem time consuming but in the long run it really does make a difference
