A beautiful walk in the sunshine, in nature to start the day, to start the week.
Mondays it’s a love hate day!
Love ? As it’s one day closer to the weekend
Hate ? … well because it’s Monday ..
I have learnt to fall back in love with Mondays by just making a few simple changes.
When you work for yourself you can pick and choose when you want to work but also sometimes you can’t. I however have incorporated Monday mornings to be my admin day which can sound kinda dull but in all honesty I actually look forward to them!
It sets me up for the week, knowing I’m on top of my to do list or making sure I complete them throughout the week.
I have always LOVED a Monday workout! They never fail me! For some reason I’m always on my best form and I tend to have more energy so I’m literally ready to go!!!!!
Today I did a work out (and it was brutal) I literally left so high on endorphins that I decided to get my walk in as well, straight after. I made a protein shake to replenish my muscles and had a podcast in mind I really wanted to listen to, so I had no excuse. I walked fast pace so I was slightly out of breath because the benefits of doing this are endless.
Afterwards I felt like I conquered the day! Showered, food prepped, smashed a load of admin and wrote a list for the week ahead.
Mondays don’t have to be awful neither does Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, it’s just about how you plan them and what mindset you are in.
Making time for you each day, is so so important and I really do understand it can be so challenging. But I promise you, you will not regret making ten minutes of your day to go for a walk with no phone and just be you. Listen to your own thoughts, switch off , listen to your surroundings. Walking is a free medicine, take advantage of it!
